1.  Start with registered point cloud data. Here it is typically difficult to decipher and locate specific piping or equipment. We resolve this issue in step 2.

2. The systems of interest are isolated using Summit’s Scan to Design workflow. Background and routing information remains available to designers.

3. The isolated piping can be viewed without the surrounding data for visualization, statusing, etc. There is no modeling done at this point.

4. 3D modeled systems, using Bentley AutoPlant or AutoCAD Plant 3D, from which fabrication ISOs are generated.
